This is a picture of the landscape that is outside the De Young museum. This is a useful resource for the landscape design to include in the sports pavilion. The variety of the bushes, flowers, and trees used will help to choose the specific kind of landscape used for the pavilion.

Make sure to use non invasive species if you specify any plantings. You may want to consider fountains and ponds as well. This is a very nice garden image, but you should beef up the scale if you use something similar for a sports pavilion. Museums are cultural centers, but aside from openings for exhibits they don't peak, so they don't require as much square footage for circulation.

Be sure to use native plants, as they save for water costs and are drought tolerent. Having a pond would be a good idea, especially as a part of some kind of community garden.- Asheeka henderson EIS
