I like that if this were built today there would be a lot of windows and spaces to allow natural light inside. Also being on the west side it would have shade to protect the building from the harsh afternoon light. PS where are trees?

I think that the pipes and brick wall really make the library and the space around the library feel like the last place someone should be.
