I like how your park looks. The shaded structure does what it is suppose to, and gives a cool place to relax.

I think that this is an amazing concept to integrate into your park. This is very simple and that is what gives it a peaceful atmosphere even around a shopping center which is usually very crowed.

The pocket park seems to provide sense of safety and relaxation. It would be beneficial in considering closing the shade structure. In Las Vegas, the temperature can exceed over 110 degrees in the summer. It would be wise to to have a shade structure that completely shades the underlying area. Otherwise, the park is very aesthetically pleasing.

Like the shade structure as well as the plant life in the area. You did well in considering the water conservation needs of the park and did well in providing trees that offer shade.

Visually appealing, gives off a feeling of security and comfort,great use of space.

You are correct that its theme does not fit the downtown site. However, the main point I tried to take away from this was to use the idea of multi-levels and employ it into my site. Rather than the actual plan itself, I tried utilizing the concept and incorporating it into my site.
Of course, the multi-level plan I intend to create would not be hyperbolized to that magnitude! It's more meant to create separate spaces for those who intend to have a sense of privacy within the site.

This is actually a really cool idea! But do you think this can be incorporated near the office area since it has a futuristic vibe to it since the downtown site does not really have that type of atmosphere.
