Summary

The current measurements for the library is 75x50 ft. This space can accommodate approximately 100 people (though it might be crowded). The current library space is used for studying, research, presentation, checking books out as well as reading. The current limitations of the library is that it gets crowded very quickly especially during poor weather. Another limitation is the amount of computers that can be used at any given time, as there are a limited amount but the need is great. Currently the library cannot accommodate any members of the community as we struggle with our own needs. The librarian requested an open floor plan so that she can monitor all the space the library occupies without being restricted by walls. New equipment as well as a tech person and or a clerical person would be a wonderful addition.
