Bridge Park
Summary
The bridge that arches over the railroad tracks near my old elementary school serves as the basis for my pocket park. The pocket park hopes to activate the space surrounding the ends/beginnings of the bridge. The design plan of the pocket parks works off the elements of the bridge such as the bridge's ends' ability to serve as a beginning or end (depending on the varying paths of every person) as well as the bridge's ability to serve as a link and a separator.

Bicycle Cities
Biking is a popular -& green!- way to travel. Yet if there is nowhere to lock up your bike, people may be discouraged to use their bike to get around. Did you know that you can Request a new bike rack in your area? Cities all over the U.S. have multiple types of bike racks they can install and all you have to do is submit a request.
