Tiny Park, Giant Heart
Summary
The surrounding area of the park has an interesting mix; there are law offices, wedding chapels, and a large high school that are all within a fair distance from it. Keeping all of this in mind I began my design process. I already knew that I wanted to create a space that drew people in from the community and allowed them to enjoy the outdoors. So the next step I took was deciding all the elements I wanted to include: green spaces, shade structures, floral aspects, sitting benches, and an eating area were all taken into consideration. And from there I had to decide which combination of these would create the best park for this area. All of the pictures and drawings included should hopefully show my thought process behind all of my initial ideas.
