Tiny Park, Giant Heart
Summary
The information I collected for my park covered a variety of areas. I wanted to make sure that this park would become an important part of the community, not just wasted space that could have been used in a better way. One of the sources that became one of the most important to me was the Centennial Plan document. It allowed me to see the types of trees that would be used in the landscaping around the surrounding area of the site. Being able to incorporate them into the design of the park then became a priority, I wanted my park to be unique but not stick out like a sore thumb. This also gave me an idea of the other types of trees I should put in my park. The trees had to be able to withstand this desert climate and not wither away to nothing.

Did you know that you can Request a new bike rack in your area? Cities all over the U.S. have multiple types of bike racks they can install and all you have to do is submit a request.
