Will the presentation room have any type of sound blocking materials as to not disrupt others out side the room on computers? If there is a particularly loud presenter it may cause conflict.

Nice set up by dividing the space into three stories- you seem to provide plenty of space to serve the many functions of a library without wasting space.

First, I wanted to recognize the great job that the group did in the video presentation. Your professionalism and well researched analysis and the articulate way that all of the members of the team presented the project was impressive. I was sincerely astounded by the amount of work that the team produced for the final.

Second, I would make a recommendation that I have also noted in the other groups as well. It is critical that you include information on drawings and models that locate your proposed design relative to the existing context of buildings and landscape. This means noting the orientation of the building via a north arrow - this will inform those viewers who are less familiar with your school how it relates to the path of the sun. You may be concerned that drawing and modeling the existing building will take away time from your own design. However, either in Sketchup or physical model you can keep the existing very simple with little or no details. Spending a small amount of time to include text to label the spaces and buildings will allow the viewers to spend more time understanding your design rather than just to figure out how it fits into the school.

You should be extremely proud of your accomplishments. Many thanks for sharing with us in Chicago. Best of luck in your future endeavors and use the lessons you have learned through this assignment in your future challenges.
