This is a 3D image of the first floor in our library. This design has more space than the current library at Mira Loma. Our library will be complete with wall shelving, stairs that lead up to the second floor and a basement for community use. Much of this space is being occupied by bookshelves and tables and seating. There will also be some student and community art hung on the walls in this room (and we will allot more room for art on the second floor as well).

Interesting, very interesting... the elevator seems ot be a very importatn element to your overall interior building design. consider spending brainstorm time on enhancing expanding connecting to other elements of the design. For example you have cylindrical tables and a cylindrical elevator.

Thank you for the feedback!
We will sit down to discuss these suggestions and see how we can connect and bring everything together in our final product.

It'd be great to see more views of this as well as some height dimensions. Try setting up some views from inside the space (human's eye view).

Are you considering having tall rectangular shelves? If you do, how will handicapped or shorter students be able to access the books without being in danger? Maybe you should consider making them shorter or having some way that students can access the books easily.

I suggest you guys to add windows into your design. But nice work.

You guys should move the shelves to let more light into the library.

This looks great, very interesting. Are you guys going to have any stairs that will lead upstairs? We like were you put the shelves, but you have to consider the handicapped and shorter students.

Jon Howard,
We will be taking more pictures of different views for you to see. Those will be coming within in the next couple of days as well.

Urban STAMP,
Great suggestion! Thank you.
After discussing as a team, we will be lengthening and shortening our shelving space. As well, add circular shelves for easier access for students and the community to browse around. If we feel the shelves are too tall, we will be adding sliding latters (like in the movie, "Beauty and the Beast" when Belle is in the library and she pushes herself across the shelves while on a latter). There will be additional help for those who are handicapped and need the help to grab a book off of the shelf.

Chic Designs,
We have added a huge bay window into our design -- in fact, the entire back wall is a window! This will allow those on the second floor to look out into our fabulous garden.
Thank you for the compliment!

IRA Firm,
We are working on rearranging our building to use the least amount of space as possible without compromising the size of the actual rooms. We will definitely keep your suggestion in mind in the future, thank you!

Future Design,
Thank you! Yes, we have also added flights of stairs for another means of access to the second floor. Our updated design will be added shortly!

i like the idea of havin a circular elevator in the middle of your design

Good Job with your ideas Muses Of Designs! We really like your design.
One thing that we would suggest you is maybe moving the kid's room to the back of the room rather than by the door. Kids might run from the room, and it is for them to get out of the building.

This is very nice, we are liking all that extra space that you have in the library, great job and keep up the hard work.

Modern Community,
Thank you!
We will take your suggestion into consideration, as well. We, again, are still working on fixing and rearraging our rooms.

Global Inspirations,
Thank you! We appreciate the compliment!

Royal Touch,
Thank you for the compliment! Having the extra space was one of our main problems that we wanted to fix in our design, so we are glad to see that we have accomplish just that!

Muses of Design,

I'm impressed with the way that you implemented the ideas of school and district personnel regarding access by community members and with keeping after-hours security in mind.

Good luck with continuing your design!

I love the idea of having both elevator and stairs, which you should though for emergencies. There will be alot more tables right?? And alot of the furniture in this room could be made of recycled stuff or eco friendly products.
