Redesigning the Saint Ursula Academy Library

05/01/13
This image is of the second-story hall that the library is located in. On the left is the library's door and there are only two other class rooms on the floor, allowing for a quiet place to study. However, the negative aspect of the location is that there is no outdoor seating option or room for expansion with the other classes around. Also, there is minimal backpack storage, forcing some students to leave theirs in the hall (as shown above) and the obscure location is difficult for many students to take advantage of. This lack of space is saved by one aspect of Saint Ursula-- each student has her own Tablet PC, so media such as computers do not take up valuable room or limit seating options to stationary desks.
