Hello, I am an architect living in Madrid, Spain and I am part of the 2013 competition jury. It is clear that you have put a lot of hard work and thought into this project, with the Revit model that you have built, the various rendered perspective views of it, and the detailed written narrative. It is hard to see the evolution between the Design Solutions and Final Design phases, though it is evident that you have attempted to integrate sustainable design ideas into your concept. Terrific work! Have you shared your design with the librarians to get their feedback? I am sure they would enjoy seeing how you addressed some of the problems that they had shared with you. It appears that you have enjoyed working on this project. Have you ever considered pursuing a career in architecture?
Thank you for your time. I did have a bit of trouble trying to connect the evolution between the Design Solutions and Final Design phases. I actually didn't spend enough time on it since I focused on the final design and presentation. The librarians have seen it and they said they love it. I do plan to major in engineering/architecture in college and maybe double major with physics.
