Again, this aerial view of the entire school not only shows the relationship between the main building and the gym, but also with the outside sports areas. The basketball and tennis courts seem secluded from the rest of the building, and there is minimal shade area for students to relax in. Shading is especially important since temperatures can easily hit 100 degrees in the afternoon in the latter half of the school year. The pathway that wraps around the courts is never used by the P.E. classes and seems to have lost its purpose of actually being. Now it is simply just an empty space that no ones uses and cannot be used in a different. Empty, barren space is again evident in the back of the gym, since there are no facilities and contains a crude desert landscape where trash seems to collect.
