DESCRIPTION OF 89104 COMMUNITY - The estimated population of the area 89104 is 38,730. The area is predominately Hispanics (21,344) while the second prominent race is Whites (12,466). Followed by African Americas (2,646) and Asians (2.231). Presumably most park-goers are families with children and elderlies, the 89104 community is an excellent area to build a new pocket park because of the demographics. Families with children will most likely utilize the recreational part of the pocket park while elderlies will use the sitting area. It is also important to analyze the demographics of the surrounding area to ensure an appropriate park for the people.

It's great to see that you're looking at just who this park is for, but also remember that just as equally important is who is it going to be for. Design is just as important in the future if you want something to attain longterm use and success. Looking at population and neighborhood trends are great things to look at as well.
