With this design, I tried to imitate the Canarsie Park approach in incorporating athletic fields into the majority of the spaces. I remembered taking a trip to Arizona and seeing a park that had a tennis court set into the ground, which made viewing much easier and, quite frankly, made it look far more appealing to play on due to the unique design. I also added a weaving path, much like Canarsie Park, for bikers, walkers, runners, and joggers.

The sunken tennis court is certainly an interesting design move, and that's great that you're drawing on your own observations from various places. But I'm wondering how large your site is. Typically, "pocket parks" aren't large enough to accommodate tennis courts, soccer fields, and bike paths.
