Instead of having umbrellas at ever single seating area, I decided to add some variety to the park. This is the playground area for the children with seating available for parents so that they can supervise them. For them to enjoy their time here, there needs to be protection from the sun. This shade structure is not only ascetically pleasing, but it can also be used as an ideal place to grow plants. Also, the tree casts a shadow that provides ample shade for the whole area, including the playground. This will greatly reduce the temperature of the area.
