Since I wanted to include some picnic and gathering areas, I figured that it would be a good idea to have some shade structures over them. This is one of the designs that I created both in sketches and as a Revit model. I wanted it to be different than most park awnings that are just a square hip-roof on poles, so I came up with this alternative provider of shade that utilizes heavy duty fabric for the awning.
