Dover-Root Park: 2015 Pocket Park Design Centered on Community Values and a Greener Future

Here are a few overhead and front views on the park. Each gives a different angle. The top right photo is an excellent depiction of the skywalk. The skywalk is designed to be a walking or jogging track that is both useful for recreational purposes but also scenic. The skywalk allows you to walk just beneath the trees and overlook the park. The bottom o the track is semi-transparent so that there are little obstructions in the walker's view of the park and so that fewer shadows are cast over the park, allowing maximum sunlight to reach occupants.

The skywalk was such a great idea and super creative! I don't know how practical it would be to design a park like this in real life, because I've never seen a park with such an overhang. But if I was a park builder I would totally use your ideas. If this was my project I probably would have incorporated more walkways so the park would be accessible to dog walkers, disabled people, or even runners. Adding more walkways would create a more organized floor-plan of your park. All in all you did a wonderful job at developing your park and your renderings are A1!
