As much as I would have liked to place cactus in, I realize that this isn't a park that would be good to have cactus in it. So, actually had to look up plants since I was not too familiar with what types are okay to use. One of them I am going with and I'd love to include is Mexican Feather Grass. I feel it would add a nicer touch as a shrub/decoration to the park! It also wouldn't be harmful compared to other plants (like cactus) to kids if they fall over it or on it. It gives off a soft and overall gentle look, so I feel it may make the park seem a bit more peaceful, relaxing and well, soothing possibly. Somewhere you wouldn't mind taking a break, which is my main interest in the project really.
