this is a solar analysis that shows what the courtyard would look like through out the day and what activities people can do depending on where the sun is because of the shade.

Adaptive Reuse
Architects often find creative ways to reuse old structures that are no longer in use. Check out how old rail lines were adapted to create New York's High Line and Chicago's 606.

I like how you took the time to show all of the shadows in the park. I find this very important when considering shade and how it will effect all of the activities that take place within the park.
Trees are a good idea to consider because, as you can see in these pictures, there is barely any shade in the green areas of the park during the middle of the day.
As you can see the park is really dark at night, almost pitch black, i suggest putting in some lamps around the park so that it is lit up during night time.
I doubt this park is accessible at night, given that it is inside a school building. This is an important step, but I can't tell from the small image here how the activities are changing over the course of the day.
