This is the symbol I am going to use for solar shingles. I went with solar shingles because they are more practical for a job this big. As opposed to placing a few solar panels on the roof which will only collect energy for a limited time, solar shingles can collect energy from any side because they replace the usual place for regular shingles on every roof.

This is great to see. Make sure you have introduced the issue of solar capture and roof structures before zeroing in on the symbol. Remember, everything about presentation has to be tied to a story or journey you, the designer, is taking us through. Each step should follow the last and support the next.
