This picture displays how the library has a limited amount of space to store books. Because of this lack of space the librarian has to find quick fixes for long term promblems such as stacking books on shelfs. This not only looks unorganized but also takes up valuable space that could be used to display books or student artwork.

Depending on whether you want to enlarge the library in your design, you may want to explore some unique storage solutions to accommodate not only the books your school has, but any future books they bring in.

We have actually decided to add on to the library by creating a second floor which will allow us to have more room to incorporate a storage room. When speaking with the librarian Ms. Gibson I actually learned something pretty interesting about the process that our old school books go through when we receive new books. Last year there was a student who attended Mira Loma high school, Casey Robins, who created a program which allowed us to donate our used school books to Liberia. Because of her generous program we have never really had a big issue with storing new/old books simply because their always in rotation. Thank you for your time!
