A picture of the cafe facing the piano from the hallway. One of the main aspoects of my library is the large curtain wall. It starts from the bottom in the reading area and curves into the second floor to the cafe and ends at the second floor entrance. Since the library would only be used from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, sunlight would constantly be hitting the library. Also, since the library is only used when the sun is out or rising, natural lighting will be more less costly than using artificial lighting all the time. The windows would also contain some photochromic molecules so that, if the sun's intensity is too much, it will darken.
