LDesign a New School Athletic Pavilion

Interesting use of color but make sure that you consider the lines of sight and access to the bleachers. Think about the entry sequence and what a person sitting in the stands can see. In this design, you would have to walk all the way past the court from the foyer to get to the seating and would be watching the game from the end of the court.

This is a really nice image of your space, make sure to include scale figures for representation and to help viewers understand how you imagine others experiencing your building.

Just one thing to keep in mind when designing very large open spaces, how is the roof supported? There are lots of ways to span a basketball court and as a designer you don't have to know exactly "how" it is done, but you have to be prepared to design for appropriately sized columns and beams. For example, in this image you are showing columns supporting the track level, (careful not to be to close to the basketball court) but nothing to support the roof.

Great overview and statement of problem and resolution. Make sure to look back at early design material before submission to make sure that you have met or clarified your original assumptions. As a design professional it is critical to evaluate and reconsider your decision making process throughout your career.
