Thanks timon! With the various materials I used, it was very important to create a legend.

Also I chose this shape in order to subtly direct visitors throughout the park. I wanted visitors to move through the spaces and occupy them equally, so I made the width of the front, middle, back areas relatively the same.

Thanks CrazeeMonkee101! I wanted to give each level a distinct look and still follow the tree theme I had for my structure, so I'm glad my designs worked out! As for your concern about the stability of each of the platforms, you're absolutely right, I would have to add more support. When I constructed the model, my main objective was to create a tree silhouette and therefore I included the lowest amount of columns I could to achieve that effect. While on paper this may be okay, in the real world this can be really dangerous. Therefore I would definitely reconsider placing pillars underneath each of the platforms. Perhaps to keep my tree form, the columns would be made of glass or be covered in greenery to appear as hanging vines.

Thanks I'm-a-CD, 423445, aznbeam, and munning13! I really appreciate each of your positive feedbacks!

The multi-level spaces were very important to my park. First it allowed me to maximize the amount of seats in the entire park. Secondly, it enabled me to integrate the environment. Since the park is on the Hudson River, I really wanted to give the visitors a closer feel of the water, but without sacrificing their safety. Therefore I included sloped spaces to create the lower elevation as well as used a glass fence to provide an unobstructed view of the water.

It is creative that you are using different materials to design your park.

It is good that you are looking into tree shades. The trees and drive the type of park you have. By having trees that have a conical or columnar shape you provide less shade and a round or spreading shape. You should also look into the amount of pollen the trees produce so during allergy season people still want to go to your park.

The shape of your chosen lot is very unique. You did a great job creating this model, and showing the main parts and locations of which components that will be located at in the park.

I love the originality of these platforms but i feel like there isn't enough support under them. Other than that, this element of the park is spectacular.
