The Park

This space is the park’s play area. Although playgrounds are usually comprised of slides, jungle gyms, monkey bars, etc, these spaces are really busy. Since my main objective was to create a peaceful park, I only chose to include swings, as these will produce the least noise. These play structures also prove to be enjoyable for all age groups. Located under the structure's 2nd level, this area will be a nice place to relax in as it will be shaded all throughout the day. The design of the swings is like that of level 4 – a bird’s nest. Likewise, the design of the benches is similar to the fence of level 2 – a modern interpretation of stacked branches.

I love the originality of these platforms but i feel like there isn't enough support under them. Other than that, this element of the park is spectacular.

Thanks CrazeeMonkee101! I wanted to give each level a distinct look and still follow the tree theme I had for my structure, so I'm glad my designs worked out! As for your concern about the stability of each of the platforms, you're absolutely right, I would have to add more support. When I constructed the model, my main objective was to create a tree silhouette and therefore I included the lowest amount of columns I could to achieve that effect. While on paper this may be okay, in the real world this can be really dangerous. Therefore I would definitely reconsider placing pillars underneath each of the platforms. Perhaps to keep my tree form, the columns would be made of glass or be covered in greenery to appear as hanging vines.
