Pelican Park
|Being able to build a pocket park brings on many things that others may or may not think about. It is simply not just laying down grass, adding a couple playgrounds and trees. Building the perfect park for a community counts on much deeper thinking. What is good for the community? Who is apart of the community? Who could benefit most from using the park. With these questions in mind, I will leap into the project with everyone in mind. In my park I plan to accomplish three main goals. One, I would like to incorporate the community as much as possible. This way the park is available to everyone, not just a certain group of people. Two, I want the park be adaptable and flexible enough to be used year round. Three, I want to be able to have a park that is able to have a mixture of children and adults. This is most important to me because in most cases, parks are either full of older people or ran over by children. With the perfect balance of play and serious work time, I plan to make my park the best for anyone that wants to use it.

Impressive use of 3D modeling software to develop your design. Nice use of nodes and objects throughout your pathways to create fun areas for users. Be careful of large signage, as it can distract from your design.
