I like the layout of the planters along the stairs and the variety of plants in you park also. I like the design but is the upper area handicap friendly? I see that there is a long pathway leading up to The upper area, but you should think to add an easier access to the shaded area. I do like your overall concept and design of this project.

I think having a slope to prevent sports matches defeats the purpose of the park, since they are commonly used for this throughout the country. You also don't mention any ADA compliant ramps on the slope for people that may be disabled, as well as pathways leading towards the stage for wheelchairs.

I really think that using a planter as a stair rail not only is a fantastic use of integrating design, but a fantastic way of incorporating more greenery into the park.

I really enjoy the natural texture of the planters bordering the walkway, providing a sense of enclosure and safety in the otherwise open air area.

I like the openness of the park. It allows for various uses. The plant life, although not abundant, shows that you carefully thought of the low maintenance aspect of pocket parks. Not only that, but it shows that you really had careful planning and thought of what you should incorporate to fit the environment your park is in. The use of both an artificial shading structure (for the seating area) and natural shading structure (for the stage) is superb. My only concern is the accessibility of your park for those that have physical impairments. The entrance ramp to your park seems to be too steep, as well as how would those in wheelchairs come from the stating areas to the stage without having to go through the grass? Other than that, an excellent job in the design of the park, and keeping in mind the environmental aspects.

I like the use of different levels it makes the park feel more open and gives parents a place to sit and watch there kids play.

You could possibly fill the gaps in the pergola with glass in order to provide rain shelter, but other than that I really like the shape of it. I also agree with GGCuba's comment because with the element of universal design being prominent in architecture today, I also believe that there should be equal access to users of all abilities, and stairs aren't very wheelchair-friendly. Despite these small flaws, this is a great element in your park and I like how it serves as the focal point, as it is a major part of your facade.

I enjoy the design, but I feel that the shade provided at the seating area isn't ideal for hot summer days. In addition to this, I feel like the stage occupies space that could be used for recreational activities, but that's not a huge detail given the space already provided for such. Overall though I like the layout of the park, and everything looks good with the decor and environment you've created.
