Lunch would be a lot more enjoyable with your plans! Sounds a bit stressful with the overcrowding, cutting in line and long waits. I am impressed with your clear-cut description of the problems and very appropriate solutions. You were especially successful communicating your ideas using vivid 3D views. The ideas you want to communicate in the floor plans and model would be clearer if they included captions. I hope to get a chance to see your future projects. You are off to a fantastic start!

Excellent graphics! Great job of describing your solution utilizing both 2 and 3 dimensional media. I'm disappointed my computer wouldn't allow me to experience the fly-thru! The floor plans and views clearly show how you've addressed circulation, freed up usable space, created outdoor spaces that are visually connected to the interior using large expanses of glass, met the seating capacity goals, and communciate the scale of the space. Nice job.

Its said a perfect drawing needs no words and the lines communciate everything. You almost pulled it off but I think the drawings, at least the floor plans could have communicated even more with some notes describing all your great ideas so the solution is completely understood. Did your scheme consider any additional sustainable features other than natural daylighting? I think some planting? maybe a green roof? composting? recycling? may have been something to consider.

You provided a fantastic description of how you plan to solve the issues at hand.

The solution develpment phase of design also involves drawings; they are used to graphically/ visually communicate your proposed solutions to the programatic issues and goals you've established. As a designer I always try to have 3 schemes/ solutions to choose from or pick and choose from to develop my a final solution.

Fantastic graphic; it does a great job of identifying existing conditions and where the problem areas are in your cafeteria. Its amazing how much a simple overlay over an existing drawing can communicate. Nice color selections.

I think a couple more graphic images like this one would have been a good technique to do some brainstorming to describe some ideas you had to address what's wrong with your cafeteria. On most architectural and interiors projects, a designer might go thru a half or even a full roll of tracing paper aka. "bum wad" brainstorming ideas/ alternates to solve the challenge ahead of them.

Nicely composed overview that describes what works, what doesn't, and what you goals are to improve and or solve the issues.

When describing your goals as an Architect, always try to address all the issues mentioned in the architectural program statement. Your overview would have been a 10/10 if you made a point to address the other goals of the program; sustainability and creating spaces that encourage health eating.
