Muses of Design/ Library
These are the bookshelves we have chosen to be placed around our library. They are large enough to hold many books yet not too wide to take up a lot of space. They are also modern bookshelves which match the overall design we are bringing into the new library.

I like your idea of hanging some student artwork off this wall. I can imagine being inside with a nice view to the garden! Can't wait to see more model!
These new sketchup views are very helpful! It seems as though you could use some more storage space. In the pictures you guys took of the existing library, there were literally books stacked up in the middle of the floor because there isn't enough shelf space. Have you measured the total linear feet of existing shelving? If not, it would be helpful to do this to get a better estimate of the total amount of shelving you'll require for your final design.
Thank you! We are working on adding more shelving space right now. This was to give an general idea of what the shelves looked like. We did not measure the existing shelving. Thanks for the suggestion! We will definitely have to do that just to get an idea of what it is currently like right now.
