The walls seem very tall for the garden. What types of things are grown and is this indoors or outdoors?

The garden design is intriguing, but I am not sure how it fits in and relates to the library building.

We made the walls three feet tall to utilize space and create a path between the different plots. This is outside the library, but it is located near a big window so it can be seen from the inside. We made a garden because it was one of the requirements for this project. The garden can act as a bridge with the community around the school. In the garden we have Golden Poppy's which don't require a lot of care and water to grow and they symbolize California. We also have some bamboo which is also easy to take care of and it helps create a mixed garden.
