The Lower Level is created to scale in the context of its site. As shown, the blue cross serves as a reference used in maintaining the "spectacle" idea. This idea has proven to be a very sound scheme, as both axes directly serve the student body and the guests. During times of heavy traffic, these wide hallways will accommodate the flowing crowds with axes pointing directly toward Masters Hall and the Dining Hall. The “guest entrance” is designed to be the largest of all the entrances because visiting teams and their supporters tend to arrive by bus. That entrance is situated near the bus drop-off area and the parking lot.
