Westlake High School Athletic Pavilion Re-design

Another issue that some athletes complain about is having to find transportation off campus for practice. Swimming and golf, for example, are two sports in which athletes have no on campus facilities. This usually means that the teams must rent out time at the local rec center in order to practice (which usually ends in the team having to practice either very early in the morning or very late at night). The golf team, for example, also has to go to a separate facility to practice (driving range) and more often than not the range is too crowded for everyone to practice at once, meaning 9 kids must share 2 stalls. The addition of practice facilities on campus will be more convenient for not only the athletes but more conducive to a strong athletic performance during competition.
