A big part of this project was trying to incorporate a diversity of facilities. In this effort, I created a running path that went around the campus that was surrounded by scenic trees. The top photo is a view (from the runners perspective) from this trail. This would not only benefit the cross country team but for the track team and athletes just looking for an outdoor place to run (sometimes it can be hard to stay motivated to run for long periods of time when running in the gym or on the track.) The bottom photo is of the tennis facility. With 5 courts inside, varsity tennis could conceivably compete at the same time as junior varsity (this is reportedly a problem that when the JV tennis team competes, the varsity players have to wait until another court is available.) It has a similar composition to the soccer stadium with the glass that provides some natural lighting but in a way that isn't detrimental to play.
