Almost 50% of water that we use outdoor are wasted to maintain green grass on garden and parks. In California, grass burns into gold color during summer, but in order to maintain greeness, the city has to water the grass. The new pocket park should minimize the water usage by using plants that don't require a lot of watering. (image: Sprinklers water the lawn in Golden Gate Park on April 2, 2015 in San Francisco)
