Here is a sketch of a second design for the park. I particularly like how close the public eating place is to the playground and the courts, I think it would make add a festive atmosphere to that part of the park. However, the pond also forms a nice barrier so the covered sitting area part of the park is separated enough so the atmosphere there is not tainted by all the noise. Also, like I mentioned before, the quiet areas are closer to the neighborhood side of the park (southwest corner) and the louder areas are nearer to Crocker (north and eastern portions).
