Out of the three environments in my proposed pocket park this is the Urban Garden section. The Largest of the three areas, the Urban Garden park will have a grand concrete entrance with water fountains like you would find in front of the Seagram Building in New York. Adjacent to the concrete entrance is a sloped lawn with both water wall and water falls to create a white noise to block out the sound of the Interstate. The pathway to the Urban farming area is a mix of concrete pads, grass rectangles, and rock - creating a interesting texture. Partition walls with glass panels are placed about the park creating separation from different elements in the park while at the same time maintaining flow with in the elements.

I like the idea of this space, but where are the fountains getting the water from? I think it's very important to consider how water smart this is going to be for Las Vegas.

Thank you for your input! You bring up a good point that I did not think about. You probably cannot see it but the wall that houses the waterfalls has a trough on top. The trough collects rain water and then has a pump in the shed that recycles that water through the system. I appreciate your input and definitely will put more thought into that.
