After walking around the garden, visitors may chose to us the designated patio area for barbecuing and relaxing. This is an image I modeled in REVIT and rendered to show off the area of the park that will provide for a the community to come together for events.

Adaptive Reuse

Architects often find creative ways to reuse old structures that are no longer in use. Check out how old rail lines were adapted to create New York's High Line and Chicago's 606.

Comments

The park is aesthetically pleasing and would be a valuable aspect of the community. It would be beneficial to place a stone walkway in front of the outdoor fireplace. The Las Vegas weather tends to dry out grass easily when not watered. The grass in front of the outdoor fireplace poses a fire hazard as it could easily ignite from stray embers. Otherwise, the park is visually pleasing and provides the necessities of the Las Vegas community.
