I want my park to be very interactive and a place where people, especially kids, look forward to going. I saw these two pictures and I thought that combining the two would make a great idea. Putting them side by side would incorporate the two ideas. I don’t want to make it seem like the slide/flower bed is over designed, so unlike the picture on top, the flower bed wouldn’t be as wide but still give the slide some shape. By having the two ideas side by side I can add some shape rather than having a straight basic slide. Security is main concern of mine there will be a railing next to the slide so that people don’t fall into it especially in the winter when there is ice everywhere. The slide would be open like the slide in the picture because slides that small that are closed might attract animals and cause problems when cleaning up. In the winter when flowers die, the flower bed could be used to decorate or display things like jack-o-lanterns around Halloween or serve as solid ground where you could put in ground lighting or even snow sculptures that neighbors would like to display, like mini snowmen.
