One thing I want to stress in my project is sustainability. As well as having a lot of recycled materials, I want my project to set an example for the community and adding some sustainable components can inspire people to do the same. Some of the things I want to add are milk based paints, bamboo, cork, Novacem's cement. Anything that is going to be painted will be painted with milk based paints. These have very low or almost inexistent VOC levels. They're synthetic free milk paint that are made of raw, organic materials. bamboo matures in less that 5 years and it lasts as long as traditional hardwood. cork is also a very great material because it resists rot and fire, it mutes sound, and it is extremely durable. Finally, Novacem's cement is carbon negative cement which means that it is able to absorb CO2 rather than emitting CO2 like regular cement.
