I decided to have a modern take on my pocket park. I think it is very expected to have a park where everything is round so I wanted to make things different and squared. You can see that I have a hill at the corner and the way that I have everything set up is welcoming and invites you to go inside and walk. I don’t have anything secluded or hidden because I want to stress the safety in the pocket park and have everything in sight. I added the snake/slide design into my drawing and showed some dimension. In the top right section you see a lot of dividing lines, here is where I’m planning to have the elongated stairs and some seating. The green parts are obviously the grass areas and the gridded area is covered in stones. The pentagon looking shape would be a sand box that is dug into the ground. Here I only display the floor plan but in the empty grass areas would have recycled structures.
