Can you explain how these ideas might be incorporated into a school cafeteria setting? How would a school cafeteria differ from a commercial kitchen, if at all?

We recognize the fact that the commercial kitchen used in the show is much to large to be used in a school cafeteria, but we were thinking of still tying to use the pantry to store the food. We will definitely fit everything to scale as best as possible. We will place the preparation tables and other equipment along the walls so that the staff can have more room to walk around freely and not worry about traffic.

Nice sketch on the left! Is that yours? If so, I can definitely see now that your are thinking about how the kitchen can be arranged. It helps you think about adjacencies that might be required in the final design. Were you able to get input from any kitchen staff?

The sketch belongs to our Director of Interior Design. And yes the kitchen staff always wanted a bigger kitchen and will enjoy the space and a big pantry.

I love the ideas you guys have and i defenately love the stairs you guys choose it looks very classy.
