please provide a lot more description of these spaces - i need to know what purpose these rooms serve. i see computer lab, a MASSIVE lobby with a fountain and some sort of meeting space. I see a ton of inefficiency in this plan - there is more unused space than used, if i am just looking at this on its own. If you guys have more explanation of the use it may help me to understand the function of the space a lot better.

Will you place doors and windows in the cut out door and window frames? And will you have seating in the lobby area, around the fountain?
Also it will be very nice to see photos of your model.

It would be nice to see inspiration pictures.

I like the layout of everything but what other type of decoration are you going to put because the main parts of the library seems rather dull.

Library looks nice, but the fountain near books, water and paper is not a good combo, plus the libray looks a little plain, maybe you should have a theme.

The general layout of your library seems interesting, but maybe your group should provide more descriptions as to what we are looking at and also a bit more of what is going on outside the building.

Regarding your waterfall. What are some ways that you can keep kids from not messing with it? Do you guys have an elevator going to your other floor?

The cut out door and window frames are going to be open so that the librarian can always keep an eye on all of the rooms. We don't want to add any seating around the fountain because we would like to keep the lobby an open space. Bram, we really don't expect anybody to be throwing any books into our fountain. Our design for the exterior of our library is on the Brainstorm Ideas tab if you would like to take a look at our courtyard. The elevator for the second floor is located in the bottom right corner next to the stairs.

I like the fountain in the library. It is a very unique feature! - Henrie Thompson, UGT

Instead of having a lot of open space in the lobby, I think it would be better if the study room was bigger with more tables.

Nice layout so far but how are you guys going to keep the waerfall substainable and useful for the library?

Alvin Yeo - EIS

Where will the books be? What will be on the second floor? Whats the use of the room on the bottom left?

The books will be at the top right

I like the design, but do you think that having one room just for books? Won't it cause a lot of noise?

We currently have an entire library full of books that stays pretty quiet
