The model with the roof over it As we approach a competed model in both physical form and in the digital renderings, we have approves upon the sustainability of our design. Instead of having one large solar window, we chose to put a series of smaller windows. This is uch easier to maintain and it still provides some insulation from the outside weather. The water system goes in a large circle around the library instead of curving its way around underneath the library. The garden has been extended to two exterior walls increasing the amount of air conditioning. For the garden, we plan to have on the inside a dehumidifyer/air conditioning unit. From the collected water from the air, the walll garden will be nourished with the water.

Jed Hughes-DAA, You should replace these pictures of blank foam board with your sketchup screenshots.

It's unclear to see what's going on inside of the library. I think that it would be a great idea to replace this photo with another more descriptive one.

Seperating the windows in order to provide easier maintenance- how is this so?
I really like how you are recycling the water through the dehumdifyer in order to make the garden self-sufficient in terms of watering. However, will the water recycled be sufficient to sustain the garden as a whole?

Thank you for your feedback. We can add a recycling water system as back-up for watering.
As far as the windows go, it is easier to maintain than having a sheet because if one cracks, you can just replace that one small window instead of creating a huge project to replace a whole sheet of glass.
