LDesign a New School Athletic Pavilion
Hello, I am an American architect living in Madrid, Spain and am one of the jury members for the first round of this year's competition.
This rendering view is one of your best, in part because of the angle and lighting. You have clearly demonstrated good 3d rendering skills and a certain level of sophistication with your design proposal. The original concept of creating a zen garden atmosphere was clear and creative. I also see a strong connection between the projects that inspired you and your proposal. I also enjoyed your hand sketches in the brainstorm phase.
During collecting information, more photographs of existing conditions and interviews with users would be useful. Also, inclusion of floor plans, sections, labels, or detailed descriptions in the final phases is important to clearly communicate the layout of the spaces shown.
Great effort and thanks for sharing your work! I hope you had fun working on this project and keep using your creative and technical skills, possibly pursuing a career in architecture.

Really nice rendering! The form of your facility is very pronounced but has subtle beauty.

Thanks Leslie! I will use your advice when making my final model.

Good looking model! For graphic representation, you can adjust the brightness/exposure on the rendering by using Photoshop just so that some of the features shown below the overhang stand out more.

Thanks, Hamza! As for the supports, I am still working on a design that will match the overall look of my structure. I am picturing columns or pillars, but I don't want them to look plain. I am open to any ideas that you might have.

Great progress! How will the two cantilevering roofs be supported?

Excellent bubble diagrams! If you think you know your program pretty well, I would start drawing in scale to help move things more efficiently and to know what you are dealing with as far as scale and proportions because I know I have made this mistake a few times.

Thanks Leslie! This is actually a diagram created by a fellow classmate.
