You've got a great layout that will fit well inside of the space it would occupy. I think you took account the surround area well in your design; a new downtown, large tech firms, retail zoning.

The shelter looks amazing. Great idea to use stained glass.

You should always take in account the zoning around your park. In this case, retail meaning there should be lots of open space that doesn't obstruct too much.

The amount of like a lens of plane of glass lets through can be controlled. When we think of stained glass, we see a lot of light getting through, however this is because often times stained glass panes are utilized as windows- where you'd want a lot of light to come through while being able to convey a story or just beauty. In a use like this, the shelter glass would only let 20% or 40% of the light through, providing great shade.

I absolutely love your park! From the shapes of the shades and the landscape to all the materials used, your entire design really evokes a natural feel! Utilizing the stained glass for for both aesthetics as well as ambience was also a very nice touch! Great job!

The only thing I would suggest is to eliminate the grass areas. Since you made water usage a priority in your park, perhaps replacing these softscape with hardscape can make your park more eco-friendly.

Your concept was "Zen", "light", and adding nature to an urban area. One way nature could have become more powerful in your design would be to add elements where the visitors could interact with nature more such as adding benches in the areas where trees are. This would add for seating areas to the places not covered by the pavilions and additional shaded areas.

This is very pretty to look at, but I do not see it as being very effective for a shade structure. Stained glass does very little to stop light from coming through, unless you planned on just making it with coloured tiles.

I really like the furniture being made out of stone. It makes your park look more natural, and it makes it stand out.
