Yeah. They're storage containers.

Your design is very good. I think your ideas for the park are interesting and worked very well in the overall design.

This is a good design for a pocket park. Many people can benefit from having this there rather than a dirt lot, you're right. I can see many people coming together to socialize here. Also, great presentation of your work! It was easy to understand what you've visualized for the park, and it's a great park.

Great idea for shading. The building will allow for people to gain shade from the sun and will also allow for socialization to occur. I just have one question... Are those shipping containers? (I'm not saying that's a bad thing, just curious...)

LDesign a New School Athletic Pavilion

kharries commented on Final: Advanced Technologies Academy's Athletic Pavilion

Hello, I am an American architect living in Madrid, Spain and am one of the jury members for the first round of this year's competition.
You displayed a nice progression from collecting information, through brainstorming, to design development. Your consistency of design concepts pursued was evident and I appreciated your use of various technical skills and mediums.
Your final design though seemed incomplete in its presentation and concept. Only two images were visible and they seemed to be same (existing photo and one section of your proposal). You should also include floor plans, overall renderings, and perspectives in order to clearly communicate your final design proposal.
Good beginning effort and thanks for sharing your work! I hope you had fun and continue to develop your skills and apply your talents.
