I think that the inclusion of the amphitheater was a very nice touch. On top of that, it also has a very good design; I'm especially fond of the fact that the steps are topped with grass and are large enough for families to have a picnic on. However, I concerned with its proximity. I think that it's located a bit too close to the side walk and that someone could easily fall in and get injured.

I'm not too fond of the separate playgrounds; they're simply way too distant from one another. As an energetic kid looking to burn energy by playing on a playground, I wouldn't want to run all the way across the park just to try out the rest of the playground equipment; I'd want it all in one central location so that transition between playground equipment could be made with ease. I believe that it would've been much better to switch the positions of the bathroom and the second playground.

If you were to keep a dog park included with your park, you would definitely have to expand it. This one is simply way too small. Also, that entrance is a bit sketchy. I believe that dogs would be able to escape way too easily.

Lots of green space. I think you should try to incorporate more shade structures in the park for the grass area. People should have the option of choosin to sit on the grass and still get shade.

An idea for the trees could be to have some circular benches wrapping around them. This would help give it the modern look you were talking about.
