This is an annotated site plan of my park. I annotated it so that you can clearly see all the components of the park and the orientation of all of the park’s elements.

I'm not too fond of the separate playgrounds; they're simply way too distant from one another. As an energetic kid looking to burn energy by playing on a playground, I wouldn't want to run all the way across the park just to try out the rest of the playground equipment; I'd want it all in one central location so that transition between playground equipment could be made with ease. I believe that it would've been much better to switch the positions of the bathroom and the second playground.

Yes, I agree with my fellow student Mr. jackhife in this, the separation the playgrounds just seems completely too distant from one another. Also, as another side note, the small gap that you have due to that top left hand corner just doesn't necessarily look appealing to the eye.

I agree with my fellow students Mr. Trowe and jackhife in saying that the two separate playgrounds aren't as effective as you intend them to be. Having two is understandable due to an overflow of people in the park at the same time, but there is too much distance that it results in another problem from you trying to solve that problem. Also, from the northwest street corner, the two buildings blocking the view of the inner park might deter people from wanting to go in. From an aerial perspective, your park is very well laid out, but a more open feeling should be added towards your park rather than buildings surrounding a big lot of grass, but that's just my opinion. Overall though, the layout of your park is well-thought out, despite the playgrounds, and I like your choice of color scheme. Good job!

I think I disagree with the other commenters about the separation of the playgrounds. I think that giving an energetic kid a reason to run THROUGH a park is a really effective use of the space. And it's nice that both are in view from the seating area for parents. You may get some crushed plants in your landscaped area though!
