Pendulum Park

This aerial view unlike the other one show you the rest of the park in more detail. You can see the first playground more clearly as well as the swings. It also gives you a great view of the Amphitheater. The Amphitheater has both a ramp and stairs on both sides of it so it is ADA accessible. It has grass planted on each of the larger steps, which you sit on so that if someone wants to relax on them it is not the hard concrete surface that most have. It also contains a large stage in the center of the Amphitheater. I did this in case the community wanted to have an event or had hired a band it could be done here and gives everyone a clear view of the performance area.

What should I upload in the Final Design step?
- final hand or digital renderings
- images of your finished physical model
- or your finished digital model
You can even include links to a YouTube or Vimeo of a digital walk-through like this one: https://youtu.be/ncaVQ2V6XXU
Adaptive Reuse
Architects often find creative ways to reuse old structures that are no longer in use. Check out how old rail lines were adapted to create New York's High Line and Chicago's 606.
Comments
I think that the inclusion of the amphitheater was a very nice touch. On top of that, it also has a very good design; I'm especially fond of the fact that the steps are topped with grass and are large enough for families to have a picnic on. However, I concerned with its proximity. I think that it's located a bit too close to the side walk and that someone could easily fall in and get injured.
