Summary

This step of the design process marks the beginning of the gradual shift from sketching and researching different ideas to the physical modeling the new pavilion. Through using Revit Architecture, I have provided the following sketches and images to show the different phases of the design process. The massing and custom curtain wall systems were the first elements of the pavilion to be built followed by the interior finishes (egress points, defining spaces, etc.). This step serves to highlight the chronological steps taken to reach the final product. Similarly, the solar study research, vegetative roof and solar paneling systems, and other unique elements of the pavilion have actually been massed into a cohesive set of ideas to avoid ambiguity about how the aspects previously mentioned will work in harmony with one another.
